This is really sad. Although it’s classic case for birth control education, and for kids staying in school, it’s also one for education in general and for public support of the safety net. But it’s Missouri, folks. You can really tell those kids are loved, though. My heart goes out to this young mother, totally. I can even understand how she might have thought the next man was going to be “the one” who would care enough to stick around and help make life easier for them. Just when you think you have it tough, you see these kinds of stories. And more people are telling them.
