The insistence of the Conservative cult in purging anything that they can vaguely attach a liberal heresy to would be comical if it weren’t so sad. I wonder if they get equally outraged when a company, say, does something environmental. Or modifies a drug to counteract microbial evolution. Or, now that Glenn Beck has had his way, uses the words ‘empathy’ or ‘social justice’ in any context.

I suppose whether they do depends on whether their media informs them that they should be outraged.

Yeah, that’s part of it. I was just reading the Hot Air article about the boycotts on Arizona over the immigration law. They kept blaming liberals, “Liberals do this” and “liberals want this” etc. What was completely missing from the article was Hispanics and other brown skinned folks, regardless of political leaning, might not want to visit Arizona for fear of being deported or hassled even if they’re legal citizens.
