The strength of the weapon,and the recoil. And don’t be so sure you know less about firearms than I do, I only really know the M-14, M-16, CAR-15. AK-47 and the 1911 Browning .45 very well. The rest of the weapons that I know anything about (not including knives) is from firing a few rounds at a range.

That still beats me easily. That said, the Army is issuing the M110 rifle derived from Stoner’s Ar-25 design. It has M-16 type fire controls, but fires .308 rounds. Here’s its info:
