I’ll bet there won’t be a primary. Party & Union will back room someone acceptable to everyone, probably Mahlon Mitchell, the President of the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin who was the Official First Signature on the recall petition. He’s young, black, & as charismatic as the gentleman living in the White House. Kathleen Falk will probably be the Lt. Gov candidate.

And you’ll be wrong. The temptation to run will be too much. And back rooms will pose their own PR challenges. Easy enough to present such a candidate as the creature of far left activists groups, meeting behind closed doors.

And I still do not see why the firefighters have been so antsy. Gov. Walker is their natural friend, and his bill exempted them.
