I was walking along Valencia ave when I saw about 30 or so Occupy people coming down the street. In the next block, just as I was passing, some young man was being cuffed by a cop for “disobedience” or whatever

He stood there grinning like a fucking idiot, obviously with no concept that getting arrested isn’t exactly some kind of badge of honor for the vast majority of men and women in communities actually LIVING in the Mission District.
