re: #198 HappyWarrior

The Vikings/Norse mingled among the entire region of NW Europe, from Russia to Scotland, over many centuries. Plus, within Norway or Sweden proper many generations of families kept collapsing the family tree by having nth generation cousins marry (not uncommon worldwide.) Inevitably this means people of Norse decent find they have common ancestors not too far back and the same with most from NW Europe.
