Curious if anyone has used these or knows of good inexpensive pickups for Teles. The Toneriders come in at about $120 for the pair.

Check out GFS pickups, sold by Guitar Fetish. I’ve used their Classic 50s, Overwound 50s, Lil’ Puncher (tiny humbucker) and Fatbody pickups in a few of my Tele builds. Best part about it is they won’t set you back much more than 80 bucks on the high side for a set. Lotsa bang (and twang) for the buck.
