what’s happening here in slow motion is what i said the night before the election
- there is no horse race in counting votes
- every ballot matters
- there is no order or sequence to the announced progress of vote totals
- until each and every one is found (yes things do get mislaid), verified, and processed, the partial totals, “leaders” and lead changes are meaningless

- there are a finite number of ballots
- and yes there is an error rate / margin of error
- and yes sometimes (more and more) the margin of victory is smaller than the margin of error
- and still there are a finite number of ballots
- the simple arithmetic (not math) is 1+1+1+…+1 until they are all done

-ALL this posturing is an attempt to game the system and change that result
