Of course, since traditional Christianity is not a Sola Scriptura religion (sorry, Protestants), and the Apostolic Tradition has about as much force as the Scripture (and indeed, the Scripture has to be interpreted in the light of the Apostolic Tradition), and the AT is a nebulous concept without clear limitations, this makes things even less clear WRT abortion and many other issues.
