I’ve had a wrench in my hand since I was about 6 years old. My dad, wingnut that he is, taught me the mechanical way from early on. I also have a working knowledge of plumbing, and practical experience in carpentry and electrical. As my family is fond of saying, “Jack of all trades, master of none.”

I’m my father’s daughter. Bless him, he tried, but he was all thumbs. He once took an entire weekend to replace the kitchen faucet. On Monday my mom called a plumber.
