250 in net would be nice, I agree. But that would require making about 350…we’re not there…yet.
OK, I should clarify:
I’m talking about $250K income in the sense that most households have income, i.e., salary. But before tax.
I said “net” to distinguish this from small business owners who have gross turnover that is potentially more than this, but out of which they pay business expenses.
I believe that, if you are reporting $250K as your “household income” before tax, you are rich (obviously provided that this is a fairly stable source of income).
