I thought it was kind of funny, sort of like a question SNL asked about George Bush during the ‘88 campaign when suspicion was rife that GHWB was something of a wimp.
“Does he really have what it takes to go eyeball to eyeball with a bloodthirsty power-mad dictator, like Margaret Thatcher?”

Difference is, that was meant to be comedic
