One would think that given how ready Donald was to donate 5M, he should do so anyways. After all, the need for charity has not gone away. The entire NE coast is in ruins. Donald owes much of his wealth to this region. There is PLENTY of need at the moment. So if any part of Donald’s scheme was altruistic, there is absolutely no rationale whatsoever for not donating the money notwithstanding the President didn’t take him up on his challenge.
