Gaza has gorgeous beaches, and despite rumors of squalid overcrowding, quite a lot of open space. It could be one hell of a tourist…er…Mecca is not the word I want here, is it?

Gaza indeed could be a major tourist destination - on par with what Israel or Lebanon could have to offer. Beirut was one called the Paris of the Med. Gaza has the potential, but the Gazans have chosen war over economic advancement. It’s a choice that continues to doom the next generation of Palestinians because all they know is hate. They don’t know how to build a country from the ground up.
