OK, I have to do my scolding thing here where I say that I really wish you wouldn’t use that term to refer to someone, even if it is intended to be a joke/reference to an old sketch. Yes, clearly the best way to tell if I’m around and paying attention to call someone a bad name.

There’s more to it than a joke and a reference to an old skit. Applying that term to a man, whether Rush or Maher, highlights the colossal double-standard of sexual behavior that exists for men and women in this society, and that was the subject of an earlier discussion. Calling a man promiscuous in some way, an “alley-cat” for example, would either be taken as praise or met with puzzlement.
