You don’t actually have to side with either. You can reasonably say that SOPA is a sucky deal, that if anything like it is going to be passed it needs a hell of a lot of work and input from people other than those who have the resources to benefit from a tiered approach to internet service.

And you can say that pirating doesn’t actually negative effect companies, but that people who pirate ‘on principle’ are self-entitled, whiny douchebags.
