Ann Romney: ‘There’s Going To Be No More Tax Releases Given’

Romney reminds me of something a friend of mine told me years ago. As a kid, he was constantly in trouble. His rule of thumb was to deny, deny, deny, in even the face of overwhelming evidence. Sooner or later you’ll wear people down.

Ann Romney’s latest statement about not releasing taxes is proof of that. They just don’t care how it looks, and sooner or later both the press and the mythical independent voter will get bored and move on.

Also, if Mitt wants to hide behind his wife, fine. He needs to remember that if she’s involved in the campaign, she’s just as open to criticism as anyone else. None of this “How dare you attack my wife” horseshit.

Which is exactly why he’s doing it.
