I’m getting to be a broken record with this, but that was the St. Louis County police department head making that claim. Not Ferguson PD.

There are multiple agencies here, but only County Police Chief Jon Belmar made the unsubstantiated assertion that 2 dozen patrol vehicles were destroyed.

And it goes without saying that nitwits and right wingers have picked up on this with glee asserting the violence begat violence.

All while ignoring that everything was mostly peaceful and under control until the county police showed up (at the behest of the Ferguson PD) after the Ferguson cop shot and killed Brown.
