Honestly I kind of doubt it, just because that might be the one thing that could prompt a veto proof override of a budget bill. It would be absolute political suicide.
Not to mention that, unlike the last go-around, this one will involve defense funding. That’s a political nightmare no Republican will want to face: Voting “Nay” or simply refusing to hold a vote on paying troops just weeks before the holidays in defense of an increasingly unpopular president*. That’s a level of political seppuku that even Leningrad Lindsey will feel hard-pressed to get behind.
