Good Finds Today!

Hello Everyone!

Today, 12 September 2003, I got two great uniforms today. I will tell you of each of them. But, I have some questions to ask, too. Enjoy!

1. I bought an East German camo tunic at a Goodwill for $1.49!!! The size tag reads sg 56 (or a US 56 Long). Everything is in excellent condition, except for some lint, which I will remove.

2. At a yard sale, I bought an IKE jacket for $0.25!!! Now that is one hell of a deal! The size is Large, and the date of ‘56 is marked on the inside of the tunic. On of the buttons appears to have been restitched. But, I have a few questions. Here is the first: on the inside of the tunic just below the shoulders are pads sewn on. They are just like that the pads that women use to emphesize their shoulders. Also, the buttons on the shoulder boards are marked with anchors. Is this a Marines of Navy jacket? I would much appreciate help.
