I’m either 12 or 13 hours ahead of Eastern Time, depending on DST.

True fact: All of China is in the same time zone, despite its size. If China divided itself into time zones like the USA and Canada, there would be at least three zones, and only the eastern coastal regions would be +8 UTC.

I’m Pacific timezone and a night person to boot, so… bed in another hour or two. Mostly because a plumber is showing up at 10am (ugh) for an estimate on repiping the house.

My baby sister goes to school on the upper peninsula of Michigan, so there’s the fun kink in the US time zones there.

In some ways old school travel was much better because you had time to adjust to timezones.
