And it seems like worse than nothing has changed: instead, the GOP is simply restricting the noose even tighter and relying on unfettered powers of the court to ensure no consequences are ever levied. Not to them, not to the corrupt police departments that murder indiscriminately and get rewarded for it, not for the thugs they rely on to destroy public protests, no thing. Only for the folks that speak out, they get the jackboot breaking their necks.
