I’ve never tried Marmite, but I’ve had Vegemite.

An Aussie friend recommended putting a thin layer of Vegemite on buttered toast, then topping that with sliced apples and covering it all with cheese. The you pop it into the toaster oven long enough to melt the cheese. I liked it a lot, but I haven’t been able to find Vegemite since then to do it again.
