Police Say Woman Blew up Ex’s Car

DETROIT (WJBK) - The explosion shook an entire neighborhood. Now, police have a suspect in custody — a 42-year-old woman from Detroit.

The roof of a Mercury Cougar was blown off. The windshield was sent flying a hundred feet. It happened around five o’clock in the morning on September third on Monte Vista.

Investigators say 42-year-old Doris Cabean-Giles blew up her ex-husband’s car as it was parked outside a girlfriend’s home.
