Not to be harsh- but I’d think it’d be instructive to point out being a Sandy Truther would make you allies with the strident assholes who yell at bereaved parents.

I mean, guns are that important… why? Since when did people use assault rifles for any constructive purpose beyond entertainment?

He probably doesn’t even know these people exist. Learning about the larger world at this point for him is learning to drive in Chicago and visiting friends on college campuses.

Watching the news —pfft, not part of his day, nor his friends.
