You can’t tell me that the GOP doesn’t stand for racists and white supremacists in its midst when people like Scalise are picked to positions of power at all levels of government. What’s interesting is that he admits to having been there and the House GOP is “monitoring” the situation, instead of kicking him to the curb like so much refuse.

That speaks volumes as to the leadership’s willingness to tolerate this kind of behavior until there’s sufficient outrage to find someone less outrageous.
