“he goes” & “she goes”, I can’t stand, unless used correctly. But they are used in place of many more specific verbs nowadays.

My mother can’t stand the overuse of the word “bag”.

I hear:

It’s not a bag, it’s a purse.
It’s not a bag, it’s a brown paper sack
It’s not a bag, it’s a plastic grocery sack …
