Bakari is a bit too young, I think. He’s falling for repeating the memes constructed to defeat him, rather than turning the mind.

This has to be really difficult for him, given quite a few cards are dealt against him.

I do agree that he seems like a young guy who some day could play a major role in politics. He needs to be able to define and control the conversation though, rather than try to play the other guys’ game.

He is magic on the stump. Appeals to young and old (of course, he’s stumping with Democrats who actually have minds.)

Yeah—he’s young, black and a Democrat in South Carolina—the hat trick for defeat, unfortunately. But he’s the real deal and I don’t think this will be the end of his political career.
