Have you tried shallots? Most likely it’s an allergy to bulb type herbs.

Shallots don’t work for me either—nor do raw onions (and I hate the taste of onions cooked in stuff.) I think of myself as easy to please, foodwise, until I start listing the things I don’t eat, and then I sigh and realize I’m kind of a picky eater.
