I do not understand how they could think that way in this case. Why side with a bunch of bureaucrats who are draining the state’s monies?

And there are good reasons to say firefighters should have a strong union while saying that government office workers should not. Firefighters do hazardous work and in such cases unions are indeed needed. But what benefit is served by allowing DMV employees to unionize?
