I’d agree; in cases such as this, I usually give any government the advantage. Now if the Ukrainian Army were to intervene on the side of the protesters, of course, that changes the balance - I don’t see that happening in this particular case, but I could be wrong.

If the protesters storm an armory and make off with a big fat haul of weapons, well, then shit gets real. Horrifically so.
