Any hypothetical traffic study would, as a work of the State of New Jersey and/or the Port Authority, presumably become a matter of public record. No doubt there are many academics in the fields of civil engineering and city planning who were legitimately interested in reading such a report, and would have noticed that no report was actually forthcoming.

It’s such a stupid lie. There’s a rather robust built-in timer.

Would also show up on state employee workorders or private firm contract documents. Not going away.
