The future belongs to the young, who are less old, generally less white, and less sexist.

I plan to live in the future.

My personal experiences, however anecdotal, keep discouraging me from believing this. God help me how many millenials and others of my generation have gone full bore psychotic right-ward or essentially swallow the rightwing pablum leading to a both sides, same thing blase that makes it feel like it’s impossible for me to get through to anyone. I’ve just seen too many crowing the same ‘FEMINISTS ARE SUPER-FASCISTS!’ shit from Rush’s heyday to believe it much. It’s wholly fucking depressing for me too.
