They really are crazy. The bigger question is how many crazy people are there? Enough for insanity to win?

Nate Silver posted this chartshowing how the moderate/liberal wing of the GOP has virtually disappeared. I’m afraid there is a very real chance that Bachmann could win the GOP nomination. At the very least, Romney would have to nominate her or someone like her as VP to appease the base.
