Trump’s goal is to be praised. He thought he could be the greatest president by making the numbers - stock market, polls, lack of coronavirus reporting - look good. But he going to make them all bad.

whoever was president was gonna face a tanked economy, unemployment, and certain aspects of ‘botched’ responses to parts of the crisis. it is big, complex, and mostly, wholly new.

what trump is doing is making them all worse.
magnitudes worse.
