I accept and appreciate the above analyses. But you and I both know that will not be enough. Again, sweeping something under the rug will only sow doubt. Go ahead and make a podium statement denying the accusation and lay out the reasons why. Obama cut off the race question early on. Biden can, and should, be able to do the same. I don’t believe Ms. Beade’s accusation, simply because it runs counter to everything I have known - or heard - about VP Biden. But we cannot give the other side any whiff of ammunition.

As for conclusions, Business Insider found 2 people to corroborate. Whether credible or not, that has to be acknowledged. So, yes, Joe Biden needs to speak about this.
