Geese are mean bastards, in addition to being a bitch to clean. That’s why Americans have been trained by the poultry industry to prefer turkeys. But Europeans (Hungarians especially) sure does love them some roast geese.

Zedushka still talks about a roast goose dinner that he had at a Hungarian restaurant in Israel over 40 years ago.
