OT (if that’s possible on an open thread):

My hubby has a question. What’s the longest viewable distance with a scope that is currently available on the market? And how do you increase the range you can see with the scope—is it the lenses, the length of the scope, etc?

Now, I’m thinking a scope is like a specialized telescope. So the lenses would do most of the work here. But I know nothing about guns. Hence the question.
