Meanwhile, over at Redstate, a particularly loathsome troll who goes by the handle of “streiff” is basically dissing the fuck out of women who serve in combat.

Seriously.

A small number of women. Have to be wet-nursed.

Please share this with women vets you know, and let them know how much you actually appreciate the fact that they served. That they cared enough about their country to put themselves in harm’s way to defend it.

And that shitmouths like Mr. streiff do NOT represent how decent, patriotic Americans feel about women who have courage, honor, and don’t need any wet-nursing from some weak suck to stand on their own hind legs and punch his fucking lights out.

Please make this go viral. Relatives of mine have served with honor and distinction, and this one really gets under my skin.

Not only is Streiff suffering under some serious misconceptions about women, he isn’t acknowledging the subtext of keeping women out of the military, that they can’t be equal citizens. Citizen-soldier cuts both ways. The military is raised from the civilian population, but you can’t be a full citizen without being at least eligible to be a soldier. I believe the Swiss used that excuse to keep women from voting for many, many years.
