It’s entirely possible that as Wallace was earning her journo spurs that Nooners could have indeed been a role-model/hero to her and sometimes those mythical scales take time to fall and go away completely. So she may forever have slack to give, but Wallace has been consistently on the side of sanity for a while now and even if she doesn’t embrace the left with full fervor, I will happily accept “fair”. Fair seems to be some kind of Avalon for these folks, never attainable it seems.

I’m talking about trust. I do not trust her. I don’t trust Schmidt. I certainly don’t trust George Conway. They are not friends. They don’t see government as any of us do.
