FDR was pres when I was born - I remember the election of Truman - I was 21 and in IBM school at Rochester Minn working on a 557 Alphabetic Interpreter when he was assassinated and the announcement came over the company PA system. Everything stopped - we went to the cafeteria and almost everyone wept.
