Well yeah goes without saying but I’d be shocked if we could trace it through the centuries. Nat Geo apparently offers this DNA test. They look at markers in your DNA and can use that to determine where your family has been. Could be interesting to look at that.

I looked into that and then didn’t do it.

Does sound interesting, but it doesn’t give real detailed info —just the general out line of how genetic info has travelled the globe —IIRC.
