Star Trek is the same way. I only rewatch the even numbered movies, until the reboot anyway.

Call me crazy, but I liked The Search for Spock and Generations. I could do without most of The Motionless Picture, though I still think the drydock scene one of the best in Trek history. Insurrection wasn’t terrible, but it tried to be too much like IV and failed. And V and Nemesis…never happened. I refuse to acknowledge their existence.
