There’s a segment of the population that insists that the center-left wants a Cold War with Russia. The fact of the matter is it’s a response to Putin. Whether it’s his aggression in Ukraine, attacks on liberal democracy throughout Europe, his state homophobia, etc. I’m with MiS, I want Putin to be afraid of the US. I wouldn’t mind using the same tools that he used to sow discord here against him. Two can play that game.

Putin is not a friend of the US. He still operates as a hostile opponent. We should treat him as such.
