I’m curious if there’s some connection that perhaps only makes sense in the mind of a wingnut that both of the medications they swear up and down will help them are anti-parasite meds that have nothing to do with viruses.

It’s the worst form of populism (and where populism usually ends)… after decades of being told not to listen to experts, and that their common sense is much better than expertise, all it takes is someone they trust saying they know a guy who knows a guy who heard that his buddy’s cousin took the horse dewormer/vitamin D/hydroxcloroquin/tide pod to cure/prevent covid.
