No, because in my opinion voting machines should be built from the ground up. And the code should be considered a secret on par with nuclear launch codes. Considering how many people in IT are anarchists; sorry, libertarians; I wouldn’t trust them to program my toaster oven.
I used to be a computer programmer and, unless things have changed a lot, which I doubt, programmers don’t spend a lot of time pondering ethical problems.
