Are we not to discuss anything posted by MEMRI so as to not feed a supposed hidden agenda? I might be the most cynical person here but not even my suspicious nature rises to the point that I’m concerned that I’m being played by either of those videos.

An observation on MEMRI having this clip may be anything - just a curios bit of trivia, an attempt to start a discussion, a critique, etc. One thing it does not signify is a concern for being played. Duh, again.
