I’m not aware of “faith” being involved in a secular governmental system. Faith (in the sense of belief without proof, or trust without evidence) is specifically religious in nature.

As for a system not worth supporting, secular systems allow for change (laws, constitutional amendments, elections). Religions specifically do not allow for change.

You’ve never been asked to “have faith the system will work”?

That’s not something they request of just Christians, and “trust it will work” still infers “have faith”.
