down here graffiti is encouraged…there is no stopping a Latino from painting everything in sight, but the city and private owners sets aside properties and just for outdoor artwork…kids come down from Sante Fe and from the various reservations to spend the day painting murals….it’s very cool, hence ABQ is renowned for this gender of art
