I do think that schools need to start being up front with students about what employment opportunities the different majors offer, and how long it will take to pay off their loans.
Majoring in Medieval literature is enjoyable, but if you are financing your education through loans, it’s a bad idea.
People do best at what they are interested in, not necessarily at what pays best. Money isn’t the primary motivator for many people.
